West Highland Way. (Note).
This story is about my walk along the West Highland Way, Scotland back in 1990. The journey took me over 100 miles from the outskirts of Glasgow to Spean Bridge. The offical way ends at Fort William but I had some time to spare so extended the walk. Its going to be posted in several parts over the coming weeks so if its not all there when you visit pop back in a couple of days for the next instalment which unlike normal will follow on from the bottom of the last post, this is because people coming along at a later date would end up reading the last part first if you see what I mean. So be sure to keep on scrolling down as each new part will follow on from the last.

I think I follow... How did your doggies enjoy themselves? Come across any 'killer cows' ?
That was a very serious walk. What beautiful scenery, some of it very rugged to say the least. The Stile certainly is stylish. I am just back from ten days in the outback visiting outback gardens that are amazing.

This walk was done before we had any dogs but even so I wouldn't have had them with me on a walk such as this. The scenery gets better the further in to the walk you get.

We stayed in Glasgow with friends quite a few years ago, I remember driving through Dumbarton and and stopping at Loch Lomond for a cuppa then on too Lanach maybe not correct spelling there was an old cotton mill there, also to Edinburgh Castle, St Andrews, had a beer in the pub were grey friers bobby monument is.... take care Bob, Jen
